Meet The Designer - Jacqui James

Hi, I’m Jacqui.

Bridal wear has been my ultimate goal and working with bespoke clients gives me the opportunity to help others dream. My process is simple and tailored to work around you. At the initial consultation, we will discuss potential designs to create the initial sketch for your dress. Once the design has been outlined and approved, you will receive a final illustration of your dress for you to keep.

For brides to be, the next stage will involve creating the toile of your dress which will give you the chance to try on a mock-up of your dream dress. When the final fabric selection has been made, your dress will be carefully constructed using the finest techniques and finishing. Each commission undertaken is made-to-order, but you also have the option of adapting an existing style from any of the previous collections. A bespoke wedding dress can take up to six months to create depending on the complexity of the dress but bridesmaid, evening or occasion evening dresses can be made in a much shorter time frame.

My collections are designed to help you dream, I like to play with colour, textures, and beading to create looks that will appeal to the modern bride; whether she may want a princess gown, mermaid silhouette or an elegant piece for a civil wedding.

I hope you have fun browsing and leave inspired and full of vision.

With Love,

Jacqui x.
