Our bespoke service is for occasions that require something particular. We begin with the woman, the setting and how she wants to feel in the clothes. From there, we develop the silhouette, proportion, fabric and detail together. The process may begin with a clear idea or simply with an occasion and a point of view. Each piece is developed individually and fitted through the making process.

Eveningwear

For bespoke eveningwear, we recommend allowing approximately three months from consultation to completion.

Bridal

Jacqui James began with bridal, and the discipline of designing around one important day remains part of our foundation. Our bridal work is developed individually, with attention to silhouette, movement and the way the dress belongs to the woman wearing it. We believe in giving every detail the attention it deserves, from our studio to your special day.

For bridal, we recommend beginning approximately six months before the wedding. Longer timelines may be advisable for particularly detailed commissions.
